In what has been an extremely busy few months for Catesby Projects, the team have attended WMG Micromobility UK, the National Wind Tunnel Facility Conference, 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Automotive Testing Expo Europe. All have provided valuable opportunities to expand our network and engage with automotive and motorsport industry leaders.
On 11th May Catesby Projects’ Group leader Jon Paton and Creative Designer Emmanouel Tzevelekakis, exhibited at WMG Micromobility UK. Not only did the event provide an opportunity for us to raise awareness of our services within the micromobility industry but it also gave us the opportunity to hear from speakers, listen to panel discussion and talk about the possibilities of testing micromobility vehicles in Catesby Tunnel with various companies.
Two weeks later Jon headed to Birmingham to attend the National Wind Tunnel Facility Conference. The event brought together the industrial and academic wind tunnel community to share knowledge, spark new ideas and discuss future development.
It was a special year for 24 Hours of Le Mans, with 2023 marking it’s centenary. Attending the historic event were Sales & Marketing Coordinator Charlie Smith and TotalSim Director Sergio Rinland. Having all the Hipercar, LMP2 and GTE teams concentrated in one place offered a brilliant opportunity to have some engaging discussions with them about the unique testing environment Catesby Tunnel offers.
Finally, Jon and Charlie exhibited at the Automotive Testing Expo Europe 2023 in Stuttgart, Germany. Messe Stuttgart played host to hundreds of exhibitors from the automotive industry. It was fascinating to find out more about the advanced technologies on display as well as talking with people about Catesby Tunnel at our own stand. The event was a huge success both in terms of raising awareness of the brand and networking with industry leaders, we hope to return again next year.
