We are looking for a CFD Engineer to join the team to help push forward our growing business.  The engineer will help lead and oversee CFD Projects. You will have between 1-5 years experience in CFD and a relevant degree from a top university.  You will work closely with our vastly experienced CFD aerodynamic development team.

Key responsibilities:

• Contribute to CFD projects for customers throughout motorsport and automotive sections.
• Carry out pre processing work to prepare models for CFD.
• Setup and manage CFD simulations.
• Carry out aerodynamic analysis and reporting.
• You will communicate with the customer on a daily basis.
• There may be opportunities to help with mechanical design, 3D printing, 3D scanning projects and experimental testing.
• There may be opportunities for project management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Conducting 3D scanning services as required for our customers on a wide range of applications using a range of different tools, depending upon the application.
• Working with new and existing customers to determine requirements and ensuring we meet their objectives.
• Continual development of our scanning best practices, methods and workflows.
• Example scanning projects could include full vehicle scans, professional cyclists (including bike equipment), or civil structures.
• Scan processing and delivery, utilising Artec Studio and Geomagic Wrap.
• Sales and marketing of scanning services.

Key responsibilities:

• Conducting mechanical design on a range of applications including Olympic sports equipment and development of some of our products.
• Supporting 3D scanning services as required for our customers on a wide range of applications using a range of different tools, depending upon the application.
• Scan processing and reverse engineering in a CAD environment.

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Test Technician to join our performance engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the testing and validation of prototype components developed for a high-performance cycling programme.

Working closely with design engineers, you will take responsibility for preparing, operating, and maintaining mechanical test rigs and data acquisition systems to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results. This hands-on role requires strong practical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously to deliver high-quality results within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate mechanical test rigs for structural, efficiency and durability testing of prototype components.
• Configure and monitor data acquisition systems, sensors, and instrumentation to ensure accurate and repeatable test data.
• Plan and conduct tests independently, including troubleshooting issues during setup or execution.
• Manage test schedules, documentation, and data output to support development timelines.
• Communicate progress, results, and any technical issues through regular check-ins with the wider engineering team.
• Maintain test equipment and ensure calibration and safety procedures are followed.
• Role may also extend to part time vehicle testing or instrumentation support.
• Role will be based at Silverstone and Catesby.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a mechanical testing or experimental engineering role.
• Practical knowledge of mechanical systems, rig setup, and data acquisition hardware/software.
• Proven ability to work independently to plan and execute tests.
• Competent in using hand tools, measurement equipment, and basic fabrication or assembly processes.
• Organised and proactive approach to managing multiple test programmes.
